Recognize any of these people? You should! Left to right; Ferneezy (first official Socially It MVP), then me (Anita), then Lainie, then the talented and beautiful singer Ranella, and last but not least we have Moiika who won 1st place in Cali, and 2nd place for the International Dance Hall Reggae Queen! This night took place October 24, 2008; the night that Ranella and Universal recording artist Bias took the stage at Ivar.

I wont be going into details about Bias’s or Ranella’s performances in this blog. Lainie is going to do a music review on each of them, so stay tuned for that. I can tell you though that Moiika (who did her thang on stage during Ranella’s performance), well she rocked it with her insane dance moves. She was all on her head and everything. Check her out in this next picture on top of the bar in the indoor/outdoor patio area.

Lainie and I arrived a little later than we had planned, but it’s okay though. A few minutes after we arrived the homie Bias showed up with a few of his friends; DJ Ill Will, rapper Young Keno, Rambo, and a few other people. Not only was Bias one of the performers this night, but he was on day two of the celebration of his b-day. You know how Cali peeps in OC/LA do it. Most of us party Thursday, Friday, and Saturday for our birthdays! Lol no joke! My birthday is coming up in January, but I think this coming year I will stick to one day (just because). Lol.

For those of you who may not have heard of or know about Young Keno, let me tell you about him. This talented rapper has the #1independent record this year and was the only independant artist who made top 30 on Power 106’s official play list. This year Young Keno put out a song called, “Lets Get Together” featuring Roscoe Umali and Sharis. That record was follwed by a remix featuring Wiz Khalifa of Warner Brothers Records and Omar Cruz who is a Latino rapper from Interscope Records. Young Keno’s new street single titled “Tattoo’s & Jewelry” was just released last Thursday. This hot new track features Hot Dollar and Gorilla Black. Last but not least … in 2009 (late Jan or early Feb) Young Keno will be releasing a new single for the radio titled “Fast Life”. The feature on this track is low key. The name has yet to be released. You can also check out Young Keno in the movie “Operation Repo, which came out this year.

After Bias arrived we all went to his VIP table to chill out before the performances. Yesi Ortiz from Power 106 was chillen with us too. Sorry yall, I forgot to get a pic with her. Ivar started to fill up pretty quick. Lainie and I were supposed to go chill with Ranella at her table, but the place was so PACKED and there was just so much going on, between greeting our guests, taking pictures, and making new contacts. We got to see her though before she went on stage. Let me just tell you people how cool and down to earth she is. She is such a sweetheart! We have her song “Shake It” on our music play list on our Myspace page. Make sure to check out her music Myspace page when you get the chance.

During their performances of course Lainie and I were able to go up to the VIP stage area.

Our boy Efren was up there. Efren is our roll dog; he’s so cool! He does photography as well. Oh … he is the one (if you remember from my other blogs), that we call our own personal paparazzi. Lol.

So like you know how you go places (like clubs) and you always see some of the same people and when you see them you get all excited like they are your good friends? Lol! And like you hug them, maybe introduce them to your friends they have not met yet? Lol! And uh, you don’t know their name so under the music you kind of mumble something when introducing them like as if you said their name? Ha ha! Yeah … well I have a lot of those kind of friends! Like this guy …

I see him all the time, but dang it … I do not know his name. And here is my other friend I see all the time, but do not know his name (but like we are really good club friends) lmfao!

I have shown a pic of me and this club friend before in another blog. Forget which one though. Lol. I am pretty sure it was an Ivar blog. So yeah this night was a lot of fun. For those who missed out, stay tuned for what we will be doing next. You gotta come out and chill with us.
