I Met Tony Rock @ Geisha House!

Check it out. Yeah that’s me and actor Tony Rock (Chris Rock’s brother) at Geisha House Sunday Oct 12, 2008. Socially It girl Laure’n and I went there to attend her friend actor Marcus Paulk’s birthday party. Marcus Paulk played Myles on the tv show Moesha starring singer Brandy. Myles’s character was Moesha’s little brother.

Laure’n and I showed up to Geisha house and asked for the guest list line. The bouncer pointed to the regular line. I said, um no I need the guest list line. He said yeah that is it. Even though I knew he was LYING we went and got in the regular line. Not surprising that some random Hollywood bouncer was taking his job WAY to seriously and decided to be a dick to two good looking females.

Now, not to sound stuck up, but uh … I don’t normally wait in lines. I have been conditioned (since 16 years old) to NOT have to wait in a line … EVEN IN VEGAS! Oh and if you are thinking, WHAT … SIXTEEN?? No that was not a typo. For all you OC people about my age … well yall should remember club Bounce right? LOL! It was an all ages club! A lil something for us high school kids to do on a Friday night. So anyways, yeah we were waiting in a line. I did not know whether I should have been pissed or embarrassed. Come on people … if you are “used” to something for SO long, of course it is going to piss you off when it does not happen.

That same bouncer decided to pull this couple out of the line (who were in front of us, but behind others) and let them into the club. Then a little bit later these other two chicks walked up and were talking to some guys and the bouncer was just staring at them until he got their attention, then let them into the club.

We had some other friends up there in line behind us (guys) who decided to roll out to some other club (I think called Central). We were going to go, but stayed where we were. So then I see this promoter guy who I know (and have worked with). He walked by me and I was like hey and he was like HEY! I said well we have been waiting and want to go inside etc. He said he would take care of us. He then told us to get into the other line (the REAL VIP line). Ugh! The chick with the clip board came up to us and asked if we had tickets. I looked over at the promoter guy I know (Joseph) and he was like sorry I don’t have anymore! BULL FUCKING SHIT! We paid a dub EACH to get in! THIS IS A FRICKIN FIRST FOR ME! The only reason why we did is because we felt it was going to be crackin! Also, we had never been to Geisha House. I have seen The Hills stars go there and it looked intriguing.

So we go inside (not pleased) and decided to go to the bathroom, which is way down some stairs. After coming back up, I ran into a guy that I had ran into over at Les Deux a couple months ago. He was with Mike (who’s birthday party we attended that night at Les Deux. They bought us a drink, we conversed a little (networked), then Laure’n and I went to go walk around and dance.

We ended up staying posted up by the indoor fire place for awhile (and danced). I kept burning my arm on the glass of the fire place. LOL! While we were chillin in this area, we met Larry the Clown. Larry was the #1 crump dancer under Tommy the Clown.

There were people in there when we first got there, but not that many. Then more people started to come, but it still was not filled in the club or crackin really. We met a few more people, got a few more drinks, and guess what? Lol. We made back our $20 bucks we paid to get in. How u ask? WELL … lol … we were in conversation about what happened outside etc, and the gentleman (won’t say who) sorry … well he was like that’s BS etc and he offered our money back! Yes, we got a refund! HOLLA!

All night we kept seeing Tony Rock walking around enjoying himself at his table. I think it is really cool when a celebrity can go out and just chill out in a place like a night club. I was hesitant on going up to him, but finally did. It just so happens that Laure’n has met him before awhile ago. He was mad cool yall. He said hello, and as you saw from the first photo, we took a picture together. For me, this boosts his character in my mind. Now whenever I see him on tv, I will remember how nice he was.

We also met some other actors.

Here we are with actor/model Nick Mazzone. He is LL Cool J’s nephew. Nick has also been all over the entertainment industry. He’s such a nice guy. We also took pictures with him outside and talked with him and actor/artist David something (my bad … lol) (who goes by D.R.).

Laure’n said that he played Raven Simone’s boyfriend in her TV show on Nickelodeon called “That’s So Raven”. If you click on D.R. (scroll up) it will take you to his Myspace page. He does music. Check him out.

Well that’s pretty much it for the night. Some guy from up above was throwing money down; “making it rain”, and the promoter guy (Joseph), well he was like next time call or text me and I will take care of you (and gave me his cell). I guess I had it before, but whatever. But yeah, what makes u think there will be a next time? Laure’n and I both agreed we are over that place. I’d be surprised if we ever go back there again. Also, we met another promoter there who told us to go through him if we go back to Geisha House, but like I just said … I’d be surprised if we go back (despite getting a refund).
