I look like a deer caught in some headlights, I know! Lol! Yep, that’s me and Slim (from the group 112) @ club Mood Tuesday 12/09/08 for the Power 106’s Cali Christmas after party! Note: The party was not thrown by Power 106, the concert Cali Christmas was thrown by Power.

If you did not go to Mood for the after party ya missed out. I had SO much fun, omg! Even though it was my first time meeting Slim I kind of felt like I already knew him. Socially It is going to be working with an artist who is affiliated with Slim. He told Slim to be on the look out for me at the party. This artists group has a song with Slim. Anyways … one of the artists friends/business associates met me at the after party and made sure I was properly introduced to Slim. Mad props to ya Jmac! I am not going to get into who the artist is right now … that will come later (so stay tuned).

There were other celebrities in the house too. Ones that I got to meet up with and take a picture with were Shane Sparks (America’s Best Dance Crew) and Tony Rock.

He is SO short yall! Lol. He told me that everyone tells him that. I had said to him that he was so much shorter than I thought!

If you recall from a blog of mine from not too too long ago, myself and Socially It girl Laure’n met Tony Rock at Geisha House Sunday Oct 12, 2008. Being Socially It of course he remembered me. He’s actually kind of like the homie (in a distant way). Lol! To read the blog about the night we first met Tony click HERE!

So this night I rolled out with Socially It girl Jennifer and a friend of mine named Markeytta. Top Floor was throwing this event. When we first walked up, we got mad love from the promoters and bouncers, but still had to wait in line, because they were not opened yet. We rolled up at 10:00. Not too long after that they opened and of course the VIP guy (Top Floor crew) came and got us out of line and let us right in. Good cuz it was cold.

After doing a womans routine of going to the bathroom right when you get in thing … we were handed drink tickets and headed to the bar. We decided to go sit at a table, so we did. Low and behold I ran into tha homie D-Amazing. Of course that is not his real name, but it is his Myspace name. His real name is Darrell. The story behind him is that we have been Myspace friends for a long time and one night (as Hellavaistic) I ran into him at Nacionals. We recognized each other right away. It was neat.

I spent most of my night up in VIP where Slim was. I was joined for a little bit by Markeytta. Other than that I was up in VIP by myself networking. Also, I gave the DJ one of the artists CD to listen to and play (the one I mentioned earlier). Sorry I keep referring to our new found friend as the artist, but soon I will be blogging about it and then I will tell you all about them! Oh and just to be clear this artist is in a group so sometimes I say artist or artists.

That pretty much sums up the night, I mean there is not too much more to tell. We all had a blast here. Slim got up on the mic and sang/rapped a little his new song “So Fly!” I know you all know that song! I love it! He also has a good song out titled, “Good Lovin!” These are songs he has done as a solo artist. I suppose 112 broke up. Something common in the music industry.

There was this really nice and cute go go dancer girl we met. She was friends with D-Amazing too. We are adding a DJ/go go dancer section to the site, so I will feature her there! Stay tuned!
