So December 26, 2008 (I know a month ago), ha ha! Well we were invited by Mari of Lyme Lite Media to attend the Bobby Valentino red carpet event @ club 740 in down town Los Angeles. It was a good time. Yours truly Socially It were able to interview celebrities on the red carpet … compliments of a videographer friend of Lainie’s named Chris (still waiting on the video to get back to us). Pictured above is Socially It and Willie Macc of the BET’s reality TV show “College Hill” season 4.

We also met Willie @ club Cabana (Hollywood). It was Joseph’s (da man, da myth, da legends) b-day party and toy drive! Willie and his girlfriend made it to Socially Its hottest couples blog section! While interviewing Willie on the red carpet, he mentioned that he will be coming out in a movie pretty soon (this year I believe). Keep an eye and ear out for Willie Macc! Totally awesome guy! One neat thing about this night was that when we handed him our card, he remembered us from the Cabana event, which was 3 days prior to this Bobby V event.

Willie Mac was not the only “College Hill” cast member out this night. We also interviewed Ray Cunningham of season 3. Ray is the first openly gay personality to be featured on BET in it’s 25 year history (about.com: gay life). The picture above is us (Socially It) interviewing Ray on the red carpet. Interviewing R&B singer Sharde on the red carpet Dec 26, 2008!

We had the pleasure of meeting and interviewing R&B singer Sharde. She looked gorgeous too! I hit her up on Myspace recently asing her a few questions for the blog and she did not respond! BOOOOOO! Ha ha ha! Oh well. Funny though, because she was super duper cool on the carpet and talkative etc. Moving on …

I thought I would use this pic of me as a filler. I love this picture of me (the one above)! Hee hee! I was having so much fun out there! I know Lainie was too! One thing that was not so fab was the fact that it was FREEZING cold! LOL! I know … we put on a good front for the cameras!

Socially It and Mark the jeweler!

Here we are chillen with Mark the jeweler. He does custom jewelry. He has made pieces for many celebrities. By clicking his name in the first sentence you can check out his Myspace page. He said he would do a piece for Socially It. Woo hoo! Yeah … how much is that going to cost? Ha ha! I’m not ballin yet! Lainie and Jah-Free

If you do not know about Jah-Free already get to know him now! Jah-Free is one of the few artists who performed before Bobby Valentino. We first met Jah-Free on the red carpet. He too was super cool. I mean pretty much everyone was. I say pretty much cuz … well … just wait til the end of the blog! Jah-Free is a R&B Dream house Records recording artist! Check out his music Myspace page (click his name at the beginning of this paragraph). This was my first time hearing about Jah-Free and I can say he put on a good performance. He was very entertaining and had the crowd hyped! When he arrived at Club 740 he rolled at least like 30 deep. I was like WOAH! LOL! Out of no where this big mob of people came rollin up to the club and there was Jah-Free lookin like a supa star! Lol!

Okay … now it’s time for the man of the hour … BOBBY VALENTINO! Now, I was not too pleased with Bobby V at the get go. He arrived late (surprise, surprise) and when he did arrive he was chillen in his car with his entourage for like ever. Man … it was hella cold outside! Us and other media were waiting out by the red carpet and he was inside his car all nice and warm I’m sure. Perhaps a lil tipsy (assuming he drinks)! So we all waited, and waited, and waited til we were like F it! All media except one photographer went inside. By time he decided to come out the vehicle only one photographer got pics of him on the red carpet. Oh well. I can say though that Bobby Valentino definitely redeemed himself on stage with his exceptional A Capella! The boy can sing! I got some great shots of him too!

The ladies were going crazy … screaming and trying to jump on the stage and everything! LOL! Bobby also handed out some roses to a few ladies. He came over by where I was and was handing them out. I’m like super tall, so my hand was practically in his face and um yea … I did not get a rose. LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don’t care shit! LOL!
