Lets start out with the good. Here you see artist Mis.Led performing live at the Key Club Friday December 19, 2008. With her beautiful face and cute polka dot outfit, you may think this hottie is singing a high note, but actually she’s rappin. Oh yeah … she was spittin rhymes on the mic!

This was supposed to be a busy night for us. We had also made a commitment to attend club Kress. After watching a few songs by Mis.Led Lainie, Kyle, and I headed over to Kress. Ricky Rocks was supposed to be there and also live performances by Hyper Crush, Jupiter Rising, and Michael Benz. On top of that, Shutter Shades was a main attraction for this event and there was to be free Shutter Shades give aways! You may know Shutter Shades through Kanye West. Ok so I bet you’re wondering what the bad was right? So we arrived at Kress about midnight super confident, because I mean HELLO? We are Socially It and plus we were told we would be taken care of. Well that was a bunch of crap. For the “first” time in Hollywood we did not get into a club. Booo! I know! Ugh! Lol! At least I’m keepin it real! Both of our contacts were not responding and the guys running the lines etc were assholes. Not a surprise in Hollywood! We could have just got in line, but ugh … we were so fed up and disgusted with waiting that we decided to leave! We should have got Ricky’s number before going there. He was expecting us and well, we could have texted him and perhaps he could have helped us out.

I am not sure Hollywood will ever learn customer service. Not only that they do not always know who people are. Not to say they care who Socially It is, but we care, and you care … I mean you’re reading this right? Ha ha! Awe … we know you care! XOXO!

So we ended up at Ritual. I had received a text earlier from this guy Zach of Zaki Ent (never met him), but he is a promoter. He told me to ask for his VIP list @ Ritual when we arrive, which was like 12:50am. We did and he came out (kind of). He was hiding behind a curtain. Wtf? I mean who does that? What a frickin weirdo. He was waving for me to come over to him. I did not. I sent Lainie. LMFAO! So she goes over and talks to him. We had already been handed tickets to get in, but we had an issue with them, because apparently they were not comp tickets … they were half price. Um … we are not paying to get into Ritual, ESPECIALLY when we can normally get in there VIP at no cost. Have before and will again. Our usual people were not there by time we got there.

So like Lainie talks to him and the jerk tells Lainie that the tickets are comped. Lainie, Kyle, and I headed to the pay window to redeem our “supposed” comp tickets, but they were like half price. So I said fuck this, lets GO! My friend Kyle wanted to go inside so he tips one of the door guys (like $40) and he let us all in as comps. He pocketed the $40.

Ok … I can see you’re a little confused. Let me explain … he told the door girl we were comps, so she did not collect money from us, but the $40 Kyle gave the bouncer he pocketed for himself as a tip. Get it? So because we were entered as comps at the door, their drawer does not come up short, however the bouncer pocketed the money! Ok, glad you’re up to speed! Lol!

Of course I was still pissed, because my friend dealt out $40 bucks, but whatever. He wanted to do that. Lainie bought him a drink and we all headed to the dance floor. I texted the Zach kid and told him what a joke he was and that I was going to tell EVERYONE about him, so here I am telling you all what a joke he is! The DJ was spinning some tight ish, so we could not help but to get down!

We started to see a few people we know including our promoter friend Jason. I forgot he was there on Fridays. Had I not forgot, I could have texted him and he would have got us in. He obviously was not out front when we were dealing with that Zach character.

One of the bouncers recognized me. He’s so nice too. That Zack guy kept walking by and I would just turn my head the other way.

The night came to an end and the lights came on and this one guy was dancing all crazy, but it was tight!

After he was done showing off, we befriended him and he felt the need to show off our business card on his forehead!

When we were leaving Zach tried to talk to me, but I ignored him. He texted me and told me that he was mad about something else and he is sorry and I pretty much told him there is no excuse. This was my first time attending an event he had texted me about. He had been trying to get me to go to something for awhile, but we’ve just been so busy with stuff for Socially It, plus our personal lives. Even though I had not yet attended something of his til this night, I was still sending people to his stuff (and he knows that). So for him to have been so stank was beyond me. It’s all good … I am over it now, but blogging is all about telling the truth in my opinion and well yall … it was the “reality” of this night!

Bottom line people as of right now in my opinion … Kress is NOT it. Please know that it is not just because we could not get in, but they were treating a lot of people like that. Why would you want to spend money in a club where the people are rude? First impression is everything people! Zach of Zaki Ent is not it either in my opinion.
