So many of you OC/LA or just Cali peeps in general more than likely know about artists Noah Jones. Well now I would like to tell the whole world about this inspiring rapper. Noah Jones was born and raised in New York until he was 16. He then moved to St. Louis for four years, just to go back to New York for one year and ended up in Orange County, CA in 1999. Noah Jones moved to these states in the relentless pursuit of achieving music success! Noah Jones got his rap style/influence by going to all of those states.

Mr. Jones just had his record release party last Wednesday (October 29, 2008). You can check out the footage on his Myspace page. I was actually going to go to the show, but could not make it. I came in contact with Noah through artists K.E. and Kaliber of Best Kept Entertainment (whom I have talked about in 2 other music posts her on our site). Speaking of Kaliber … Noah and he have a song on Noah’s album called, “Remember the Rain”. I had the pleasure of listening to their song, and I also watched the video they made of it. I love it! Kaliber posted it on my Myspace page. This video touched me. Not only was I feeling the song (I am more of a beat person than lyrics), but I was touched by the shirt that Noah was wearing. It had a picture of his beautiful baby girl on it. He LOVES being a dad! Noah grew up with out a father, which he told me makes him a better man and a great father! Noah is a proud parent!

Noah Jones has worked with Styles P (The Lox), Young Mel (Jay-Z’s nephew), and Scipio (who is signed to Black Wall Street). Production wise Noah has worked with Jimi Kendrix whose credits include; Jay-Z, Ja-Rule, 50 Cent, R. Kelly, and Lloyd. Noah has also worked with producer Metro Beats whose credits include; Lil Wayne, Drake, and Nicki Manaj. Last but not least Noah has worked with super producer C-Ballin whose credits inlcude; The Game, Snoop Dogg, Warren G, Dog Pound Gangstas (DPG), Nate Dogg, and many others.

Styles P, Young Mel, and producers Jimi Kendrix, Metro Beats, and C-Ballin are all featured on Noah Jone’s CD “The Hood Needs a Hero”. Noah is a busy guy and he is very proud of what he has accomplished for Orange County! Show him some love yall and check him out!
