Hey everybody how are you doing? Thank you for tuning in to Socially It! Hopefully you are having a wonderful day (or night), depending on when you are reading this. So … Friday Oct 17, 2008 as many know we helped to host a night at V20 in Long Beach! If you are into music, you may know who that is in the picture with us! If not let me tell ya! Well if you are a Socially It friend or fan you already probably know that to the far left is Socially It girl/model Michelle! Next is my BEST friend/business partner Lainie! She’s tha shit yall! After LJ (one of the many nicknames Lainie has) is Hi Post from the rap group Ruff Ryders, and last but certainly not least MOI (that means me in French)!

Now, the photo you first saw was taken by a new found friend/affiliate of ours and his name is Ethan. Ethan owns fotophashion.com! Check him out. Through out this blog I will be using some of his photos as well as some of the ones we took ourselves!

So about this night … we would like to give an apology to all of the people who showed up expecting to be interviewed live on www.iamhiphop.com/mstv. The day of the event Shux Wun of Music and Strength called to let me know that he had something else to go do and that he would be late. I guess that’s something you do to people when you have been blowing up their name for a month. Yeah we all planned this out in September. So anyways … he ended up not showing up at all even though he arranged to be up there at 11:30pm. So there it is people (for the “many” who have been asking).

THAT DIDN’T MESS UP OUR NIGHT THOUGH! Lol! We had so much fun! It was my first time at this venue. I think the same with Laure’n too. As for Lainie, she had been there before. Here’s one of our pictures!

Big shot out to my boy Peter of Flash ‘E Events! Because we are “Socially It” we got to walk straight up into Hi Posts VIP with Peter and take some pics (like the one at the beginning of this blog). And also like this next one (taken by Ethan).

Okay moving on … we had brought some Socially It t-shirts there with us to give away. They’re so cute! I know you wanna see!

Pretty soon we’ll have a post with pics of us wearing the shirts (and jackets) that we have. Now, if you are wondering where you can get your hands on one, just stay tuned; we will have them soon enough. We also had these cute lil booty shorts (for girls of course). We gave them away here at V20. The Flash ‘E Events girls love em. We gave them a pair.

We met a lot of really cool people like in this next pic. He was the rocker Asian dude.

That picture cracks me up because to the left of the pic you can see a little piece of Lainie peeking up over some guy! Lol! At one point in the night I started to get really silly. I was doing all kinds of funny poses in the crowd.

Uh? Lol! And of course I had to do my signature pose …

BWAHAHAHAHA! That facial expression cracks me up! Lol! Lainie was gettin down too with a tall papi!

This girl was gettin down too! I don’t blame her; the DJ was playing some good stuff.

Speaking of the DJ … at V20 they play hip hop/rap and also some bangin techno tunes. They switch it up back and forth. I love all kinds of music (you may have read that in my bio … top of the home page under the Socially It button). Also, I would like to address something that people had been asking. You know how there are clubs where there are predominantly (for example), Black people, or Hispanic people, or Asian … White, purple, yellow … whatever right? Lol. Well V20 has been known to have a predominantly Asian crowd. Well when we went (Friday Oct 17, 2008) the crowd was a total mixed crowd. There was a little bit of everyone here this night. This club was crackin yall. I would love to go back there again sometime too. They call this club the $10 million dollar club. There’s this one section that is a VIP section. It’s off like to the back of the dance floor and well, it has it’s own private bar. How tight is that? That VIP section sits a little higher than the dance floor too.

So I mentioned earlier (err showed u) that Hi Post from Ruff Ryders was there. He performed live. Everybody was jammin to his songs. He was a real cool dude.

For me this next part I am going to tell you about was the funniest part of the whole night for me. So like this guy starts talking to me. He had about 6-7 roses in his hand. I guess he was selling them. Well he ended up giving them to me. So the natural born hustler I am (lol) … I started selling them to people as they were leaving the club. I was like, “Rose for the lady”? Or, “THREE DOLLAR ROSES … get one for the lady”! LOL! Whatever I could think of! This one guy bought one from me. He handed me a five. I was like I don’t have change! He said it was all good and to keep it. Lol.

So yeah … V20 … WAY COOL! I liked it. Yall will never guess who I saw outside the club when it let out. LMFAO! To find out … check back for my up and coming busted post. I know yall have been waiting for another.
