Wow how time flies! It seems like just yesterday I was blogging about Lainie and I’s first time at Grasshopper Wednesdays. If you are a regular here at Socially It dot com, then you already know that last month (August) was our first encounter with Grasshopper Wednesday nights … and that they are held the LAST Wednesday of every month @ The Little Temple Bar in Silver Lake (which is pretty much Los Angeles).

So, round two at Grasshopper Wednesday was SO much fun! If you were not there, I am telling you … yall missed out! They had some fabulous female DJ’s in the hizzouse!! We had the pleasure of listening to DJ Jiji Sweet, DJ Dizam, and DJ Panamami on the 1’s and 2’s. These are some bad ass females! Looking back on the flier I saw that lady DJ Shania D was to spin too. I got pretty tipsy this night, and I mean no disrespect to not remember specifically DJ Shania D. I know she was tight though, because I do know that all night the music was great.

Before the lady DJ’s arrived Tommy Blak was doing his thing on the turn tables! Man … I could not keep still all night! The music selection all night was sick! All night, people were just bobbing their heads and dancing.

We met this super cool guy named Jimmie. He bought us free drinks all night!

We met a lot of new, really cool people. The crowd here is so kick back, it’s hard not to make friends. Speaking of meeting people … our boy Kashus came out to join us! AWE! It’s always good seeing Kashus!

If I had one critique about this night, it would be about the service at the bar. There was only one bartender. The Little Temple Bar is not a huge place, so maybe they think one bartender is good enough. Well um HELLO? LOL! Not on a Grasshopper Wednesday! They know that shit pops off! They need TWO bartenders! I’ll do it! I used to bartend! Ha ha!

So yeah, we are excited for next month! I wonder what they will have going on. No matter what it is, Socially it will be there!
