I had the pleasure of seeing Keri Hilson and Making the Band’s Day 26 at Les Deux in Hollywood. Yes it was a few months ago, but it still happened lol. In the picture is ex Socially It girl Laure’n (left) and singer Keri Hilson. Keri’s debut album “In a Perfect World” was released in early 2009, which included hit singles; “Energy”, “Turnin’ Me On”, “Return the Favor”, and “Knock You Down!”
This night at Les Deux Socially It was throwing an event, so anyone who was on Socially Its list could attend, as well as guests that other Hollywood promoters invited. Les Deux was holding the Keri Hilson Grammy Awards after party here. I was very surprised to see Day 26. I had no idea they were coming. I feel like I know these boys, because I have been following Making the Band since it first started. Making the Band (in case you don’t know) is a “very” popular reality tv show by P. Diddy Combs that follows him making girl band groups and boy band groups. In Making the Band 3 the platinum record selling group Danity Kane was born. After much success Danity Kane has split, which crushed the hearts of millions of fans including myself. That’s saying a lot, because I usually do not care about stuff like that, but those girls grew on me. Anyways, the making the Band 4 is when Day 26 was made and also solo artist Donny Klang, who I met at the Sharks Club in 2008. Click HERE for that blog.
Pictured above is Big Mike. He is my all time favorite out of Day 26 and guess what yall? He shook my hand. To me that’s just so weird, because for the longest time he was this guy on tv and when I saw him and shook his hand he became that more real. He just (in my opinion) has this “it factor” and is very likeable. Later on I was also able to hand him one of our Socially It cards. Hopefully he’ll check in one day and read about how cool I think he is! Ha ha ha!
Above is Robert. He is cool too. I did not get much interaction with him. These guys were super busy taking pics with a lot of their fans who were dying to meet them. From the pics though, u can see I was really close to them. They were in this upper VIP section, which I “should” have had access to, but it didn’t work out like that this night. WHATEVER!
Next you just saw Willie. Willie is a ladies favorite with his good looks, smooth voice, and sexy body! But check this out … I cant stand Willie! LMAO! For reals. I think he is stuck up! He walked right by me and I called his name and he ignored me. The rest of the fellas were mad cool and said what’s up (and as I told you, Mike shook my hand). Also, later on I was trying to get a picture with him and he just ignored me then too. I tried to hand him a card and he ignored that. THEN … I saw him on Twitter and pushed the follow button so I could communicate. I wanted to ask him where I could find Big Mike on Twitter (and I asked him) and guess what yall? YEP! He ignored me! What an asshole! I also said a few other things to him on Twitter and same thing. UGH! All he does on there is talk about himself (like about how he was in some band before he made it big in Day 26). Um who cares Willie! Lets check out Brian now.
Good ole Brian. Look at his star tat on his hand. Lol. He seems like a pretty cool dude from his appearances on Making the Band, despite his few temper tantrums. I hope I get to run into these guys again (minus Willie). There is another member of Day 26 and that’s Qwanell better known as Q who dates member Dawn from Danity Kane (unless they’ve split), but as far as I know they are still a couple.
When the party was ending Keri Hilson was so close to myself and ex Socially It girl Laure’n that had I reached my hand out I could have touched her. I was “SO” tired this night and totally spaced on the chance to get a picture taken with her. That’s ok. She said hi to me and I smiled and said hello. As you saw from the first photo though, Laure’n got her shot. I also took a few more pictures of Keri while she was in VIP hanging with friends and talking and taking pics with fans down below.
I think this next one is a great shot of her. She is very fit and I think she looked great.
