A little background info on this video: Ranella really started to focus on her music after getting out of a relationship. They parted ways on a bad note. Ranella’s comfort food was fried chicken after her breakup. She loved chicken so much she knows all the chicken specials at the different places around town for example; Big Wangs in No Ho (North Hollywood) has a $0.25 cent wing deal on Tuesdays and there is a 24 hour Popeye’s near her home. The point of this all is that she started to gain a lot of weight. Ranella gained about 15 pounds.
Ranella prayed so hard to the Lord to give her the strength to let go. “Ask and ye shall receive!” Ranella finally learned how to be by herself again, while growing up into a woman as a late bloomer. Ranella divulged her time into her career righteously. There’s a lot of hard work behind that, but Ranella loves the learning process! Ranella also started to lose the weight and is still going!
If you recall our previous blog on Ranella (click HERE), you should remember us telling you that Ranella was recently signed to Shway Shway Records. Producer “Shway” aka Dwayne Wayons (yes as in a Wayans brother) would always call Ranella bitter, because she would always say how she did not want to date for awhile, because men are idiots and stupid, cheaters and liars! Ugh … she was so over it! Just an FYI … No Ranella was not thinking of dating woman!
Ranella needed to find herself. She needed to see what she liked and did not like. You know the part of you that gives to your partner (in this case her ex), but it’s not reciprocated. Ranella was starting to get her mojo back!
This story of Ranella’s is how she ended up with her new song and video “Bitter!” This song was produced by “Shway” aka Dwayne Wayans. “IT’S COMEDY” Ranella says! Check it out!
