Hello everyone! If you are from Southern California like we are and listen to KIIS FM 102.7 in the mornings like I do, then I am sure you know who Negative Natalie is. I must say she does make the morning show funny! Every time Ryan Seacrest comments her and she comments him back … she cracks me up! I just wanted the world to know who she is. She has her own website/blog and tells you how it is from her side of things. Yes she either loves it or hates it, but “It’s not negative; it’s the truth!”

Our Q&A session with Natalie is below:

Lainie & Anita: How did you get into broadcasting and radio?
Natalie: I started interning at KIIS when I was in college. That led to answering phones on the weekends, then I got a job working with JOJO at night … then when I graduated and was looking for a full time job – I got lucky with an offer to be a producer for Ryan’s morning show!

Lainie & Anita: Are you from LA?
Natalie: I was born and raised (first part of my life) in the the San Fernando valley, then moved to a tiny town called Yuma, Arizona when I was like 10 years old. As soon as I graduated from high school – I raced back to LA for college and life. Could NOT keep me away from my town for too long! I LOVE L.A.!!!

Lainie & Anita: What do you do when you are not busy with work?
Natalie: I love going to the movies (arclight is my FAVE!), love shopping, hanging out with friends, going out for sushi (katsuya is my fave!) and sleeeeeeeeeping any chance I get!

Lainie & Anita: What is your pet peeve?
Natalie: People that ask stupid questions. Like when someone asks me to look something up, when they are sitting in front of a computer … um … what????????

Lainie & Anita: How long have you worked for KIIS?
Natalie: I’ve worked at KIIS for 7 years and with Ryan for 5!

Lainie & Anita: Is there something that you love to hate?
Natalie: I love to hate period. (How can u ask me to choose??? Ha ha).

Lainie & Anita: Who is your Favorite celebrity?
Natalie: You mean besides every girl that has ever tried to be Bret Michaels’ Rock of Love?? I would have to choose the guy that plays ‘Sheldon’ on “Big Bang Theory” – OMG that show is hilarious … and this guy, his real name is Jim Parsons – is amazzzing. SOOO funny!! He makes my day every single Monday night! I LOVE him!! (P.S. – That is a very underrated show – everyone needs to wach it)!!

Lainie & Anita: Who gave you the name Negative Natalie?
Natalie: Ryan gave me the name – It all started because he thinks I hate all girls that are pretty (whatever) … and it’s evolved into me hating on pretty much everything, which I swear …. I don’t hate everything … I’m just opinionated on a LOT of things!

Lainie & Anita: Does Ryan ever hook you up with Idol Tickets?
Natalie: Totally!! I LOVE going to live Idol shows! Sooo fun!! It looks HUGE on TV, but when when you’re in the audience, it’s not that big at all! definitely one of the perks of the job! I LOVE American Idol!
