“Oh wait a minute … oh wait a minute … hey, hey, hey … girl wait a minute!” Ha ha! Yep that’s me (Anita) and Socially It girl Laure’n chillen … taken a pic with Ray Jay! HOLLA! A special friend of Laure’n’s in the industry invited us to club Area in Hollywood for the People’s Choice Awards post party on January 7, 2009. It was CRACKIN yall … and swarming with celebrities!

Not only was it the People’s Choice Awards after party … it was Tiffany Pollard aka New York’s birthday. Laure’n and Socially It girl Jennifer met Tiffany once before at friend/actor Page Kennedy’s birthday party inside club Les Duex (Hollywood) like last month (Dec 2008) … click HERE for that blog. It was really cool for me to have finally met Tiff, because I have watched all of her reality TV shows (“I Love New York,” “I Love New York 2,” and “New York Goes to Hollywood”). She was also on “Flavor of Love Charm School,” which she had her first coming out on the reality TV show “Flavor of Love” starring Flavor Flav! So anyways … of course she had an entourage with her including her manager, with whom I became cool with. Agh … the joys of networking!

Hanging out with Tiffany was reality star Heather from “Real Rock of Love” with Bret Michaels. It was cool (for me) seeing her as well, because I watched her on “Rock of Love” and on “Rock of Love Charm School” with Sharon Osbourne as the dean. Heather was mad cool yall and I liked her dress!

So our friends we were with had a table, so we chilled out there for a bit and had a few drinks. Seriously like every other person who walked by was a celebrity. People I did not even know their names (cuz I’m lame like that), but I would think to myself … oh that’s that one guy … or hey that’s that one girl! Lol! Laure’n and I were walking around and walking towards me I swear it was LL Cool J. I thought to myself OMG! Lol! So I stopped him and said hey you’re who I think you are right? HA HA! Lame … okay, but he stopped to talk to me. He was funnay yall. He goes gimme a kiss on my dimple here … LMFAO! Okay … so if you’re not laughing right now, I just have to say if you were there you would have been. Trust me! So I asked to take a picture with him and he agreed and so check it out … tell me what you think … (leave a comment). Laure’n was like no that’s not him, that’s not him! In person it “really” looks like him! Even in the pic, but whatever … okay so look …

So maybe it was not him? If it was though our boy Nick Mazzone (actor) would have told us. He is LL Cool J’s nephew. Laure’n and I befriended him awhile back at the Geisha House when we attended friend/actor Marcus Pailk’s birthday. If you are not familiar with his government name, you may know him as Miles on Moesha. Miles was Moesha’s brother. Moesha was played by r&b singer Brandy (Ray Jay’s sister).

Let me tell you who else we saw … Suge Knight. Crazy huh? It’s just weird, because I never thought in a million years I would ever run into this guy. Growing up I would always hear about him in the news (nothing ever good) ha ha … but yeah … of course we took pics with him too. He was with some girls who kept smacking Laure’n on her butt and one girl even flipped up Laure’n’s dress. Um, not classy at all. Wtf? Why would a female flip up another females dress? What ev …

The celebs I am telling you about does not even come close to the many that were there. If you research Lyme Lite Media, you may be able to get a better list of celeb attendees. Lyme Lite Media ran the red carpet for this event. Speaking of which, we ran into Mari (CEO of Lyme Lite Media) on the inside. We have attended a few of her red carpet events, and also did a little work on the red carpet for the Bobby Valentino concert at Club 740 Dec 26, 2008 (still have not blogged about that yet).

Then there was this guy (actor Ken Lawson). He played on the Parkers sitcom with Mo’Nique (the comedian) – who I have met.

The night was insane people! We had a really good time. Oh and I SWEAR I was standing right next to Mos Def. Laure’n was like no that’s not him, but it was! Iv’e seen him before! Ok so … I also met a really cool female named Crystal Nyla. She is a model and pop singer.
