Socially It girl Ms. Nyna and De La Cruz did their thing @ Jimmy’s Lounge in Hollywood on December 22, 2008. I went out to show our girl some support. I am glad I went, because I had a good time.

It was my first time meeting De La Cruz. I had intentions of going to see De La Cruz and Ms. Nyna perform earlier in the month of December 2008 on the 14th at the Palmer room, but I was not able to make it out that night. I was taken back by De La Cruz’s quick rap style. When I heard how fast he rhymed the rapper Twister came to mind.

I know all the boys were feeling Ms. Nyna as she sang the hooks to De La Cruz’s songs. She also captivated the audience with her dance moves!

Okay so there was one down fall of the night. Yall are not going to believe this! So after my glass of wine, De La Cruz offered to buy me another drink. I switched it up to a Cadillac Margarita on the rocks with NO salt! We all go sit back down at one of the tables and I was sipping on my drink and low and behold there was a brown bug floatin in my drink! I just about died! OMG! I stared, and stared, and stared at it trying to figure out wtf it was. It kind of looked like a super sized flea. We took it back to the bar and the bartender offers to give us a round of Patrone on the house in place of the bug drink! I asked him what the heck that was in my drink and he said he thinks it’s a roach! A ROACH! A F’ing ROACH? What tha? WOW! He said he thinks! He KNEW it was a damn roach in my drink! The chunks were about to fly! I felt so sick to my stomach! After he had told me that, I knew then that it was a roach. Damnit! I am still cringing til this day! I should have stuck to the wine! Ha ha!

Um yeah and why do I look chunky in this pic? Oh well … ugh! So yeah that sums up the night pretty much! Did I mention there were some other performers there too? I couldn’t tell ya who they were, but these one guys were really good. Like that helps, but hey … if I run into them again I will make sure to let you all know about it!
