Grasshopper Wednesday would not have been proper with out the beautiful Nikki Falcon (pictured above) in the stunning purple. We first met Nikki at the very first Grasshopper Wednesday that Socially It attended! We have been a fan of this event ever since! Although there are many more Grasshopper Wednesdays to come in 2009, we could not help but to be sad that this was the last Grasshopper Wednesday of 2008!

Socially It did not roll alone either. We had two Socially It girls in attendance with us! There was the fabulous Socially it girl Nyna and the fabulous Socially It girl Jennifer with us!

The man of the hour is our boy Rob the Rich Man (or just Rob)! He is the one who turned us on to the Grasshopper! We heart you Rob! If you have read previous Grasshopper blogs, then you know that Rob is one of the promoters for this event! No “secret” about that! Sniggle!

For you new peeps just learning about Grasshopper Wednesday, I think I should let ya know that the Grasshopper (GH) happens the LAST Wednesday of every month! So then yall might be wondering, well why isn’t there going to be one in December! Well you smart ones who have already checked your calendar … yep that’s right. The last Wednesday of the month falls on New Years Eve (so that is why), but the GH will be back Jan 2009 so get ready!

The night turned out more special when our dear friend GMC showed up! He is an artist!

This night at the GH was the first time we have seen both rooms open. In one room there was DJ Main Vybe, DJ J-Won and Dj Hines Buchanan. J-Won and Main Vybe both recognized us from Myspace. I love when that happens. So far it has never failed. Now that we met face to face we will all keep in better contact. In fact DJ J-Won and his two friends have an event called “The GetUp” coming up on December 13, 2008 @ the Hollywood Canteen. Rob will be the host for this night and Socially It will be in attendance! Cali peeps! Come on out and join us! We will be reviewing J-Won! Yep! We are adding a DJ section to the site! And yes … these 3 dudes were on point with the music. The Grasshopper is notorious for having tight DJ’s and good music! I spent most of my time in this room, because I had never been in it before and I liked the ambiance.

In the other room spinning was (in order of spinning) DJ’s Panamami, DiZaM, Fat Jack (special guest), KiiLu Grand, and the homie Tommy Blak. Whenever I would go into this room, you KNOW it was on point too! I’ve heard DJ DiZaM spin before. This night we came in on the end of her set. Tight as usual! Also, I LOVE when Tommy spins! Go Tommy! Go Tommy! Go, go, go Tommy! Uh? Lol! I’m sillay!

Speaking of special guests artist Mis.Led took the stage and dazzled the crowd. I do not know where I was for her performance, but I heard she was off tha chain. Lainie said she heard her from the other room and just “had” to see who it was. I cannot wait to be able to see her perform myself.

I think one of my favorite parts of the night was when we encountered the fan! Lol! There was this fan by the DJ booth in the room Main Vybe, J-Won, and Buchanan were in.

The only person in our group who did not get a fan shot was Lainie. She had her hair all braided up like a retard! LMFAO! Just kidding Laines! LOL! She looked beautiful as ever (with her lil ole braided hair do). Ha ha ha!

So like yeah people! Don’t just take my blog for it, come on out in Jan 2009 to Grasshopper Wednesday! If it was not tight we would not go every month. Ha ha.
