Sunday 11-23-08 Socially It girls Laure’n and Nyna and then myself headed out to club Social in Hollywood for an AMA after party. It was also a celebration for Don Dada’s birthday party. We network with Don Dada. He does a lot of promotions in Hollywood.

The picture above are these two hot girls I took a picture of at the party. I figured I would feature them as the main picture for this blog. Lookin good ladies! Oh and I LOVE that dress!!

When we arrived at Social (like 10:00 pm or so), we headed to the front off of Sunset Blvd. We were supposed to be greeted by our boy whose name I will not disclose ONLY because I am not going to put him on blast for this night. I am sure he wont let it happen again. What u ask? Well us ladies were supposed to be immediately escorted in upon arrival, but he was no where to be found. As we waited the line was growing longer, and longer, and longer. We were getting bored, so I took this picture of the girls while waiting.

Because we wanted to go in we decided to get in the line. We were waiting only about a minute and a half in this LONG ass line when a beautiful woman walked up to us and said, “You ladies are hot; would you like to go right inside”? Of course we said yes and we were escorted to the front of the line and let right in. It was then while walking up the steps into the club that we saw our boy just approaching the door from the inside, who then handed us our free admission tickets. I was like wtf? Lol. He said he was busy inside taking care of something, and that he apologizes for not being able to return our texts.

We get inside, get a drink, networked with some people, then headed upstairs where the real party was. The downstairs section of Social is like a lounge area for when you first come in and want to get a drink and just kind of chill out.

Once upstairs other people started trickling up there as well. I started to see so many people I knew. What is really cool (and I have mentioned this before), whenever we go out there is always “at least” one person who will say HEY, YOU’RE SOCIALLY IT! Usually it is a guy who will say it, but this night it was this really cute girl who told me. Sorry no pic, but I do have a pic of this other cool female that I ran into at the bar. If I remember correctly she was from out of town. Hopefully she checks the site and sees that I featured her in this blog!

Now check this out … so as I always say … if you folllow along with Socially It, (or even when we were Hellavaistic), well then you may know that quite a few times now I have run into Lil Al B Sure. Lil Al B Sure is the son of R&B singer Al B Sure. Al B Sure was huge when I was growing up in the 80’s. I love his music. Anyways I am sure you know what I am going to say next. Yep! I ran (once again) into Lil Al B Sure. Up until this night I had never taken a picture with him. I walked up to him and basically told him that after so many times of seeing him that we needed to take a pic together. Of course he was all game and he also remembered running into me the previous times.

Lil Al B Sure was also on the show on MTV called “Rock the Cradle”. This show featured the offspring of famous musicians competing every week in front of their parents, a panel of judges, and a live audience to become stars in their own rights. Other artists who competed were Chloe Rose Latanzzi (daughter of Olivia Newton-John), Crosby Loggins (Kenny Loggins), Jesse Money (Eddie Money), Lucy Walsh (Joe Walsh), Jesse Blaze Snider (Dee Snider), Lara Johnston (Doobie Brother Tom Johnston), Akeiba Burrell Hammer (M.C. Hammer), and Landon Brown (Bobby Brown). March 12, 2008. Los Angeles (Reuters).

Moving on … Jason Giambi of the NY Yankees was supposed to be hosting the night here at Social. I never got to see him, nor did I ask if he was there. I was so busy doing other things. We did run into a reality TV celebrity though. If you watched MTV’s From G’s to Gents, then you may recognize J-Boogie pictured below.

I was very pleased when my friend Eric of 1 L.A.W Ent arrived at Social. He manages a group called Cafe whose song “Flashing Lights” is the first song featured on our Myspace. You guys should check it out!

As you can see (from the pic above) I ran into our dear friend Universal recording artist Bias.

Now … I do like club Social, but I had never been a fan of the bouncers. I have been to Social a few times before and have seen the bouncers be assholes to people and have encountered it myself. Once I had said that I would never go back to Social, but some how, some way I have ended up back there again. I will admit, this was the first time I cannot complain about a night at Social. Yes people, things are looking up! Lol The bouncers were really nice this time too (from what I saw). Some even recognized me from the few times before. After Social let out I hit up the hot dog cart! MMMM! My favorite part of the night. They are so good. They are bacon wrapped and if you like grilled onions, they have an onion topping you can put on it. When I get hot dogs I do not get onion on mine. I’ll pass! Not that I dislike onions, but not on my hot dog. This night I was so hungry I had two hot dogs!
