Like the title says, “Boy what a night”! Here you see (left to right) Monica, Lainie, me, and Coco. I have been friends with Monica and Coco for YEARS! More than 10 (with Coco). Lainie met them through me and has known them for many many years as well. This night we had a ladies night out in Hollywood! You probably saw us advertising it here on the site, or on our Myspace. Well … let me fill you in on what happened November 14, 2008.

We started out at club Mood. Lainie’s friend Nick (bouncer) told Lainie he works @ Mood Fridays and to come through, so we did. Plus we had never been before. We also have two promoter friends who promote there as well, so you know getting in with no problems was the business for us!

We got to Mood at 10:15pm and the line was starting to form. Before going in we ran into our friend/promoter Raul Martinez (Ritual, Minx, Dragon Fly, Elevate to name a few), and also Mark (boss promoter dude). Mark used to do club Sugar with Milton (promoter/friend) whom we also got to see at Mood. Okay so most of you are like um, who the F* are these people! LOL! Uh … well now you kind of know (in case I ever mention them again).

Moving on … so we get inside and head to the bar (after the bathroom of course). Note to the fellas … usually the first place a woman goes when she first gets to a club is to the bathroom; and you know all her friends are going too! Lol! We rolled really deep this night. There was me, Lainie, Socially It girl Laure’n, Coco, Monica, and Rebecca. Then we met up with Nessa and her roomate, which her roomy brought her boyfriend .. and we also met up with Christina (promoter/friend) and Jason (promoter/friend).

Club Mood was throwing a party for the movie release of Transporter 3.

And the coasters would not be complete with out the Transporter 3 poster! Oh yeah HOLLA!

We were dancing, drinking, and having some fun when we got word that there was an Allen Iverson party going on at Social up the street. Nessa, her roomy, and her roomy’s boyfriend had already dipped out and went to Social. The rest of us walked over there. Thanks to our boy Jason knowing some one at the door we all got wristbands and walked in. I was a little confused, because the way we came in was not the entrance I went in the first time I had been to Social. Also, it was a whole different side of the club I had never seen before.

Note: The 1st time I went to Social it was for Mari’s b-day. Mari is the CEO of Lyme Lite Media. Management and the bouncers @ Social were assholes and started to be rude because the bar was not making enough money. They kicked everyone out at midnight!

Okay so we go in and it’s this huge room and the DJ was spinning hip hop.

Lainie and I head to the bathroom. Coco, Monica, Rebecca, and Laure’n headed to the bar. After leaving the bathroom Lainie and I started to head into this one room where we heard them playing techno. It was the side of Social that I had been on my 1st time at Social (mari’s b-day night I told u a lil about already). We proceeded to go in and the bouncer was like um you can’t go in there. I said, “Why”? He said because you have a wristband and wristbands are on that side. I was like um … normally wrist bands mean VIP, he was like no wrist bands are on that side. WHATEVER!

We went back to the “wristband side”. I sent out a SOS text so that I could get access to the other side. It was a go that we would be able to, but I got side tracked and the new plan was that we were going to head to Shag.

Lainie was pretty tipsy by this time. It was like 12:30am. She was waiting for the homie Bias to roll through. You guys should know about Bias from reading our blogs. By the way stay tuned, because Lainie will be doing a music review on him any day now (ugh hmm). Lol.

Here’s where the BS comes in. So like the whole group of us agreed that we wanted to head to Shag. Some other NBA party was going on there. Lainie was still waiting for Bias. I told her to tell him to meet us outside. We all started to walk out (so I thought). Laure’n and I get outside and turn around and UH … no one else was behind us. Wtf? I texted Lainie, but no reply! Uh? So Laure’n and I were like F* it! We started to walk to Shag. The first couple of steps my feet were about to break. I had been on them for too long at this point. I waved down a cab driving by and he gave us a free ride up to Shag. (Laure’n tipped him $10).

I texted my boy Mark and he came right out to greet us and walk us in. It was like 12:45am or so when we got there.

Such a great host; Mark got us a drink then Laure’n and I walked around to peep the scene. Shag was packed as usual. By this time I get a call from Lainie that she is chillen with Bias at Social and that she is drunk. I told her we were at Shag and for them to come get us (the club was going to let out), plus she was closer to Mood where “her” car was. She drove to Hollywood and she had the keys to the car. She said they were on their way. I get a call from Coco that they (Coco, Monica, & Rebecca) left Social and were heading home back to south Orange County. I was thinkin oh man … Lainie is by herself now. I mean she was with the homie and all, but still!

So then this guy comes up to me and says, “Hey Socially It”! This night I was not surprised because we get that a lot now. I was like, “YEAH .. HOW DID YOU KNOW”? He told me we met last week when we threw Shane’s 27th b-day party there and that he promotes there as well. His name is Doughboy. I was like oh cool etc etc. We chatted it up some about networking etc, then it was time to go.

Okay … so we are leaving Shag, I am thinking my girl Lainie is out there to get us … guess I thought wrong!! She was no where to be found. My Goodness. I dialed up this drunk biotch and told her we had a ride over there. We got a ride to Social and I call her and she is nowhere to be found. She calls me and tells me she is at Denny’s with Bias. Um .. double yoo tee ef (wtf)??

Between me being tipsy and her being DRUNK it was hard to communicate. Laure’n and I made it back to her car where we had to wait, and wait, and wait … oh and did I mention and WAIT for her silly butt to get back to the parking lot? Ugh! Let me just tell you people … this was a first for my dear friend; so after it’s all said and done, I am not trippin anymore, however that night I was upset (not to mention concerned).

By time she got there I lost my buzz. If I hadn’t it would have been okay, because Laure’n did not drink anything but water, so we had a DD (designated driver) just in case. Remember people … “DRINK RESPONSIBLY”! “DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE”!

Well that sums up the night. Oh wait … I never showed you guys Rebecca! Here she is …
