I don’t know too much of the technical mumbo jumbo, but I do know that In many GUI environments (Graphical User Interface) including Microsoft Windows and other applications, control-Z can be used to undo the last thing you just did! Yep that’s right by pressing the CTRL and Z key at the same time on your keyboard (in most programs) … it will restore whatever it was that you might have accidentally erased. Take note though you are limited to one or two of these undos only per mistake.<\/p>\n

For example … you are typing along and BAM!! You just accidentally had a brain fart and deleted everything; “No fear … control-Z is here”. Lol, I just made that up; that’s HOT! Just like your cut-and-paste actions control-Z should be something everyone is aware of. I use it every day, because yes this nerdy hot mama makes mistakes lol.<\/p>\n

Here is some useless info on the history of WHY we have this function. So control-Z was one of a handful of keyboard sequences chosen by the program designers at Xerox PARC to control text editing. Presumably these particular keystrokes were chosen because of their location on a standard QWERTY keyboard, since the Z (undo), X (cut), C (copy), and V (paste) keys are located together at the left end of the bottom row of the standard QWERTY keyboard. The equivalent Mac OS key combination on Apple computers is command-Z (or apple-Z).<\/p>\n

It would be great if this applied to our real lives, because there are so many things I would control-Z lol. Just remember my lil moto … “No fear … control-Z is here”!!! Lol. O gosh geek humor … hahaha.
