No, that is not some one dressed up as Deray Davis! Lol! That is the real Deray Davis (actor/comedian) and I @ club Sugar Saturday Nov 1, 2008 (the night after Halloween). But hey, just cuz it was officially November didn’t stop me and some others from dressing up in our costumes. I mean heck, it was still the weekend!
Of course Lainie my best friend and partner in fun (rather than partner in crime) ha ha … well she got her pic with Deray too. He was real cool.
We all had so much damn fun this night. Let me tell you about it. So like you all probably already know that we were hosting a night here at Sugar. We were also asked to host a birthday party for this really cool guy (Rod), that I had met networking over at the Sharks Club Oct 16 (I think it was).
So like Rod and his girlfriend and like at least 20 or more of his friends came down to party!

This is our boy Caps.
Caps is a designer for artists like Bishop Lamont (Diocese/Aftermath), Taje (LNS Ent), and Focus (A.Fam). Actually to get more precise about the artistic genius that Caps is … well he is … 1) art director/graphic artist 2) an art director for Takeoff Productions/Takeoff Records and 3) an apparel designer/graphic artists for Rolland Berry apparel.
It was so funny, because when he first rolled up to Sugar I had it set up so that he walked straight in. Well he came walking up in his velvet suit. People were looking at him like omg! Lol! When he was in the club he was getting a lot of attention!
There were other “costume” celebrities here too. T-Pain made an appearance …
Okay so he is missing the hair and millions of dollars, but don’t
you recognize the hat from the award show? Lol I forget if it was
MTV or BET, but whatever! He was so surprised that I knew what his
costume (aka hat) was. Lol.
Oh here’s a good one … PRESIDENT OBAMA! LOL! Well, in this pic he was still Senator Obama (Nov 1, 2008).
What’s so funny is that I thought he was dressed as Tiger Woods
at first! I was like TIGER! Lol! He said no I’m Barack Obama! LOL!
Enough of the guy costumes, I have some sexy females pics too. This is the cute German beer girl.
And then the other military girl that was here (because I was the first). I guess you can say my costume was like sexy Marine girl (no offense to the Army).
So check out this next costume. Wouldn’t it be great if the world were at peace like in the picture below? Like where the terrorists and military were friends? I mean they do not even necessarily have to be friends! They could just be at peace and be cordial to each other.
So on with the night … I was SO tipsy! I even forgot what I was drinking this night. Um?? Shit. Lol. Oh well. A lot of people came out between hosting Rod’s b-day and having our friends, and friends of friends come through.
Not too long after Caps arrived we all went out to the dance floor. On the way over to the dance floor some guy bumped into me, spilling his NASTY drink on the sleeve of my costume. Ick! Ugh, I was pissed. I do not know what he was drinking, but it was brown liquor and it stunk. The weird thing about it was like he did it on purpose, because after he did it he looked at this one girl (his friend) and they both did this weird gesture thing and laughed. I cannot explain it, you had to have been there.
Oh well so maybe like 5 minutes later I got over it and Lainie, Caps, and I were dancing enjoying ourselves. I started to see a few people/acquaintances that I knew and took off around the club to mingle/network (and I was looking around for the hottest couple to be featured on our site).
My friend Trent got me a drink. OH YEAH … I had a cosmo! LoL! That’s what I was drinking. Lol. Oh and it was STRONG! Oh yeah, thus far I cannot complain about the drinks at Sugar. The cosmo I got from the bar out on the indoor/outdoor patio thing up by the upper VIP area (that’s where Derays table was). Later on my friend Savage (Bring Em Back Ent) purchased me a glass of white wine. Check this out right … so my friend orders me a glass of white wine (like I just said), and the female bartender (front bar) serves it to me in a rocks glass. Wtf? I was so mortified. My friend asked about it and she said they were out of wine glasses (that they were all dirty). Wtf? So I told my friend well tell her to put it in a champagne glass or a martini glass. She ended up putting it in a martini glass. I used to bartend that is a no no! You just do not do that. That would be like eating sushi with a fork!
Most of the night we danced and kicked it up in the VIP area by the DJ booth. That VIP section is a little higher than the rest of the club so we were looking down on the people dancing. Watching people dance is one of my favorite things to do inside a club/bar. You observe some of the FUNNIEST things and the funniest faces that people make.
On the 1’s and 2’s that night was DJ Jam-X. He was tight (and good looking). Ha ha.
Our boy Joseph was on the mic. Socially It would like to thank Joseph for being the man that night (meaning for taking care of what we needed) and for shouting out that Socially It was in the house over the mic throughout the night.
Of course a party isn’t a party with out our dear friend Efren! He was dressed up as like a general guy.
