Here Lainie and I are at club Sugar with Jamal and Jerod Mixon. You may know them better as the two twin brothers who farted at the dinner table on the movie “The Nutty Professor!” HERCULES, HERCULES! LOL! This was the night of December 13, 2008! Before hand we had went to “The GetUp” over at the Hollywood Canteen. The Mixon brothers have been in a lot of movies like (as mentioned already), “The Nutty Professor”, “How to Be a Player”, and “Steppin.” The list does not stop there either there’s many more, along with many television shows too. So since I started off talking about Sugar, I will finish about that then go into the first part of the night. So we left Hollywood Canteen to head over to Sugar. It was myself, Lainie, Socially It girl Laure’n, and my friend Markeytta.

Sugar was crackin, which was not a surprise. It was jam packed yall. When we arrived there was a long line. It was I think close to midnight when we got there. Being Socially It we got right in. Here’s the cool thing about this … see … some of the promoters running this Saturday night at Sugar were the same promoters who were not pleased with from that night at Element that I already blogged about. I guess you can say there was some redemption on hard feelings after being treated so kindly at Sugar. We know other people at Sugar too. Heck … we threw an event there on Nov 1st. But still … we were grateful.
We headed straight for VIP where my boy DJ Illa-Noise was chillen. Naturally we were let through by security and we kicked it up there all night.

Even though Sugar was crackin … we were all just like blah! No particular reason. We stood at the rails in VIP and just watched the crowd. There was some chick that was annoying the girls, because she kept getting up on the rails and screaming and flailing her arms around everywhere! We were going to do a busted post on her for being so annoying, but nah! Lol!

As I told you in the beginning we met the two twins from the movie “The Nutty Professor”. Deray Davis was also in the house too. He’s everywhere. I’ve seen him at Ritual (back when i was a part of Hellavaistic), then at Mood (the night I met Slim of 112, Shane Sparks, and Tony Rock (again) … and I have seen him other places too. There were some other people in the house too, but I was not paying much attention.
So now on with what happened earlier that this night. You probably saw us advertising for “The GetUp”. Our boy DJ J-Won invited us out. Rob the Rich Man was hosting (he’s the one who throws Grasshopper Wednesdays the last Wednesday of every month). It was cool. They had “The GetUp” at the Hollywood Canteen. That is not normally where they do it though.
We were supposed to try to go to the black and white party out in Santa Ana, but we already had made a commitment to our friends for “The Getup!” We did not want to disappoint them. Since we could not attend the black and white party we wore black and white anyways.
DJ J-Won was on the 1’s and 2’s, but I will tell yall all about him in a blog for the DJ/go go dancer section we are about to make.
